The world of Victorinox dates right back to the year 1884, with the revolutionary idea of manufacturing a compact knife with an array of practical functions: the Swiss Army Knive was born. Quality, functionality, innovation and iconic design have the highest priority at Victorinox, and this also applies to their other product categories: Cutlery Watches, Travel Gear and Fragrances. Victorinox AG is an independent family company and 90% of shares are held by the Victorinox Foundation. The company’s continued existence is therefore optimally assured as 90% of generated profits are available to the company as reserves. The remaining 10% of shares are held by a not-for-profit foundation that supports charitable projects. Read more about the sustainibility projects on the Victorinox website.
